I'm planning on using a Iwaki MD30RLT and want to put it on a closed loop from the display back to the display. I don't want it to draw from the sump. Any ideas?

Will I have trouble priming the pump to get it started? I guess if I use the U-shaped PVC I should drill a hole it to prevent back siphoning then, shouldn't I?
