I have seen reef aquariums with pretty algae plants in them. What kinds would you recomend that my snails or crabs wont eat?
where can I get some?

2 turbo snails and 3 of these little tiny crabs. They are not hermits I know that for a fact. One of them has blue legs and the other does not.

Funny how we expect snails/hermits to eat all our bad algae and leave the good stuff alone :)
What about a shaving bush?

I don't know about a shaving brush, but I was told maidens hair is left alone because it tastes bad.

I have halemeda(spelling?) algae that suddenly started growing from my liverock that looks pretty cool. I also have about 10 turbos along with other snails and hermits in my 240 reef. Halemeda doesn't attract snails, hermits, or herbivores being calcium based. I started noticing it about 6 months ago and it is now about the size of a softball.
