Any animal/plant suggestions for new tank

I really want to get my tank established. I had gravel, but recently took it out and replaced it with Live sand, I left in my Undergravel filter though, is that OK or should I take it out. I also have a wisper style filter and very little live rock (I'm going to get more ASAP). IN order to be most effecient in the cycling process, what critters and other goodies should I start with. Any other suggestions are appreciated. Oh, my plan is to make it look like the reef near the beach I live at. There's alot of water movement so I was thinking about a bubble wand and pwerhead to stir things up.

i think its good that you changed to live sand but the undergravel filter will not work with sand. to be truthful in my opinion undergravel filters are useless, debris gets caught under it and it will cause your nitrates to skyrocket. the whisper filter is ok but the bubble wand is not a good idea. for water movement the powerheads are a good idea. how long has your tank been set up ? has it cycled yet ? if not its not a good idea to add and creatures yet the cycle could kill them. i would suggest to read everything you can about saltwater tanks and keep asking questions. hope this helped. :)
