Any DIY stands?

Any of you guys build your own stand? I am pretty handy at building just about anything. But I am curious if you guys have built one. The tank I want is either a 54 corner or a 92 corner bowfront.
The weight of both of those tanks with water and rock is extremely heavy, you would need some major supports.
I figured since I want a black stand and canopy, I could build it relatively cheap, some of the stand I've seen are upwards of 1000 bucks!

I built a stand for my frag tank using 2 x 4's and oak 3/4" plywood -- stained and clear coated for under 100 bucks.

Trust me, nothing special here but if you're handy you can do a lot better than myself :)

I am in the process of building me a new stand right now. Mine looks alot like the one your building JDL. Only thing I recommend is putting a piece of plywood on the top so you will have a solid surface for your aquarium to sit on. It will make it a little more heavier but will give great support for the tank. I seen a picture on another side of a guy that had a 9o gallon corner tank that woke up one morning with 100 lb of live rock, sand, water and all his fish and corals in the floor of his house. Got me to thinking about my stand and got to looking. The one I have now is made out of 3/4 pine right now. I am building me one out of 2 x 4's with an Advantech top on it to support the tank. I will get a few pictures once I get it done this weekend and post them for you guys to see.
