any drysuit divers?

I know this may be a long shot, but anyone here have any experience with drysuit diving? I just go a drysuit with the dui rockboot system and cant find a fin to fit over the boot. Anyone had any experience with the rock boots?

Hey, I highly reccomend it. One of my drysuit buddies theories is "no muss no fuss."
Noticed your from chicago. You ever dive Lake MI around there. What about haigh quarry or pearl lake?

Did my certification dives on Pearl Lake years and years ago. The only Lake Michigan diving I've really done was up in Door County on some old wrecks. Other than that it's Florida off of Marathon key. Just got back from a vacation in the Carribean but since I brought my 4 and 2 year old I couldn't do any diving. Did do a little snorkeling in St. Lucia. My brother used to teach at Berry Scuba but not any more.

I have used dry suits.
I would not recomend them for anyone except in extreme circumstances.
One of the funniest things I have ever seen was a diver who lost control at 20' and floated like a life raft. He was thrashing about in a stiff suit and had to be hauled in by his life line...quite a hoot watching a giant inflataqble man thrashing on the waters surface.

It tahkes a lot of practice to use one, for a novice, it can be very dangerous.
And a good wetsuit will do most of us "just fine"
