Any euroreef skimmer users?

I am wondering how much you (or often) you adjust your outflow riser height. Is there a sweet spot you leave it at?
How often do you have to empty your crud collector (that is my term, I am sure there is a more eloquent title for it)?

I am still cycling, but in the first few weeks of my cycle I was emptying my skimmer every thrid day. This seemed excessive, but the crud was a dark brown, and fairly thick, so I'm guessing it was doing a necessary amount of cleaning. It seems to have slowed down recently.
Maybe I found the sweet spot. Maybe my tank is regulating itself a little better.
Overall it seems very user friendly.
