Okay I'm confused on this...so I figured I would ask in the reef forum..I was wanting to add a little color to my FOWLR tank so I figured some blue shrooms or some zoo's...sounds simple enough? I have taked to several ppl mostly from other online suppliers and have got answers rangeing from Dont even try, to should have a bit of troubles...so here it is...Zoo's and a few shrooms with a Niger, and Humu Trigger....I understand that they arent reef safe...I have some stony coral that i got on LR they have never bothered....dont bother the other fish, anem., they actually bed right next to each other in the same piece of LR. Figured I would ask here....

I have seen people keep them in a reef w/no problems, but that's not to be expected. Why don't you just buy a CHEAP rock of shrooms or zoas and see what they do with that

triggers as the way I understand it don't eat them they just tear into them as when they start to rearrange their tank. Try above example with a cheap rock and see what happens. With triggers though it's an everyday is different thing. One day they are fine, the next total chaos.

I second oceana.
On a side note; what type of lighting do you have on the tank? Shrooms don't take much light at all, but figured I'd ask. Not too sure about zoos.

right now I'm running 1x65 PC combo's...I am buying a 92gal.bow with stand and wet/dry for $450 Friday so I will beef it up to prolly a 2x65, I was told buy several ppl that the 1x65 would support shrooms and some leathers, not sure about polyps though

you may be able to sustain some zoas, but you can't get any nice color under that light. IMO I would just stick with shrooms and low light corals.

Yep. Keep in mind the depth effects the light corals get greatly. 2 X 65W would give you a lot more options depending on the width of the tank.
