Hey peoples, I just began the marine fishkeeping hobby in the past few months but my dad has been in it for many years. So he set me up with a 40 gallon tank a few months ago and i had 2 perculas and i was holding his achilles tang for him. Well of course we got ich and it wiped out his tank and mine so we we left the tanks bare for about 2 months. Just recently i put two 3 stripe damsels in their and now i'm gettin ready to put something else in. Anybody got any ideas? I'm not very experienced but I have interests in the foxface, naso tang, niger trigger, and the coral beauty. Would any of this fishes work and does anyone else have any other ideas? Thanx!

the naso tang, niger trigger won't work, for they will grow to big for that tank. As far as the coral beauty it would be okay, but probably not a good idea with the damsels. Damsels are usually too aggressive for the coral beauty.

The coral beauty will do good in your tank, but if you want to get the other 3, ytou would hafe to upgrade, for they will get to big.

Welcome, the coral beauty would work...eventually. I'd wait till the tank is more matured before adding it though. It likes to graze on algea. A 40g isn't a very large tank, so it limits what you can get. Although there is still plenty to enjoy. You might want to get rid of the damsel eventually as they can get mean. I'd look into clowns, blennies, some gobies, some wrasses, dwarf angels, and other smaller fish.
