ANY INFO. ON EELS AND CLOWN FISH

I was wounding if anyone thinks it's a good idea to keep eels with clown fish

I had a snowflake with my clowns for quite awhile and had no probs between the two....Unfortunatly my shrimp weren't so lucky and now the snowflake is awaiting his new home.....
Just don't put very young/small clowns in with a full grown eel.

Clownfish make excellent food for eels! They will eventually be eaten by any species of moray eel.

I have has a snowflake moray and a maroon clown in the same tank for over a year. Every now and then the clown slaps the eel in the face with his tail to keep him in line, but other than that they get along just fine.
My eel is more than large enough to eat the clown if it ever felt like it.

If you do get a clown with an eel, get a female maroon clown, those guys are tough.

We have kept a snowflake with a clarkie and tomato clown for just about 1 year without any problems. Later Lisa
