About how many gallons would this tank be 25"L X 4 1/2" W X 12"H. BTW I know that this will be a small tank and is not meant for saltwater fish.

cubic inches X 0.00432 = liquid gallons
25 X 4.5 X 12 = 1350cu in
1350 X 0.00432 = 5.832 gal
just to break it down

To figure out water volume in a square or rectangle tank you multiply length*width*height and then divide that number by 231.

Oh goodness, why would you ever want to do such a horrible thing as taking calculus
I took one week of pre-calc my senior year of high school, and that was enough for me...I think I switched to art

Cool you can help me with my calculous test tomorrow that I still haven't studied for.

ahh good old derivatives, integrals and limits...how I don't miss those days...on a side note, there is a lot of money to be made with a mathematics degree if you enjoy it.
