Are there any nocturnal stars or crabs that can clean at night?

Brittle and serpent stars. Hermits will also keep cleaning at night.

Does this mean that they will be safe more less with the triggers? <img src="graemlins//urrr.gif" border="0" alt="[urrr]" />

no clean up crew is safe with triggers. i use bluelegged hermits because they are abundant and cheap. most hemits learn to stay in their shells when the lights come on and scavenge at night. if the triggers are big they can crack the shells in half to get them out.
