I have a 4" worm I believe might be a green tipped bristle worm. Does anyone have pics of one they could post? Also, are they bad for a reef? How do you get rid of them if they are bad?
Thanks

I have a pic of a common bristle worm found in our tanks. I wasnt sure if you needed just a general appearence or not for comparison. These kind are safe, green tipped is new to me so I cant say.

I saved that pic from another thread, that is not mine. The common ones I was talking about are more purple and pink, but body shape is the same. I didnt realize that pic had different coloring until now. Sorry bout that.

Thanks. That's what it is then...A green tipped bristle worm. A buddy of mine at work did some research awhile ago on venomous / poisonous aqautic life in the area and he had a green bristle worm in there. It said it is poisonous to humans and can cause gangrene secondary to the infection from the sting if left untreated. I flushed it today.
