Does anyone collect shoes as a hobby besides reefing or having saltwater ?

LOL! It amazes me how many different pairs of shoes a woman can have. Between my sisters and my mom- we must have over 150 different pair of shoes in this house! SERIOUSLY! And I get by on just 4. Flip-flops, steel-toe boots, tennis shoes, and dress shoes.

argh. I kinda meant like athletic shoes, maybe jordans, air maxes, and others. I understand women like to have tons of shoes

Haha nice. we have some crazy .. closet inside our house near the front door. man I can't believe how many shoes can fit in a little closet like that

I have a major shoe problem - I have well over 200 pairs and i do wear them all.
When i travel on business for a 5 day trip I normally bring at least 7 pairs with me
I realized how big of a problem it was when I was packing for a 700 mile move and had to start labelling theboxes with my shoes as "pots and pans" to avoid the remarks from my family as they helped unpack. (it worked until my sister in law tried to help unpack my kichen and had a box full of boots instead)

My girlfriend collects shoes. One walk in closet full, one big hall closet (7"feet wide) with all shelves full, shoes on each side of the stairs as you walk up and shoes by the door. In all I would say she owns more than 200 pairs of shoes, boots, stilletos, heels, pumps, flip flops, or whatever else they are callede. And she says my Xbox is a waste of space sometimes? Atleast I use mine atleast weekly...lol. Half of her shoes she has never worn..............I don't get it.....but I just grin and nod, Grin and Nod.

My shoe collection is quite limited....yet I did manage one day to wear a brown and black mismatched "pair" of shoes to work one day. yes, I did have another pair in the closet just like the one I had worn. It was quite the talk form that day forward at the office. Probabaly the reason I ended up in therapy.

That reminds me of the day I met my ex wife's parents for the first time. I had two pairs of Reeboks eactly the same, one pair for work (dirty) and one pair for normal use (clean), needless to say I got home late from a job and with out looking I managed to get one of each on my feet and did'nt notice till after I rang her doorbell. I don't think I impressed them much!
