you need a way bigger tank for a shark like 180gal or up sorry but a dwarf lion would work in a 55gal

I wanted a red snapper but it was going to get way to big for my new 55g I was thinking abot geeting a 75g or a future tank as a 210g could I put any thing in there right what would be good for a aggressive tank setup any thing would be good just not to aggressive though any suggestions would be great thanks Lil Gobie

i'd stick with the one tang a 55 isn't big enough to house a couple of tangs and the dwarf lion would be a good addition if you don't have too many fish in there already you should put a list out of everything you have and your setup and more people would be able to help also

A 55 gal. tank is just barely big enough for ONE adult large lionfish all by itself, and even then it will be very cramped.
You need to read up on the sizes your fish will reach before buying anything else.
Unlike some freshwater fish, marine fish will outgrow a tank that's too small unless they are overcrowded, in which case the tank will simply collapse from bad water conditions and everything will eventually die.
