Any Thoughts On This Sick Looking Leather?

I got this leather about 1 month ago and has looked like this for about 3 weeks...covered in brownish/green algae. I have seen him shed it once or twice but never completely. I have tried him in different spots but still looks sick. I am checking water parameters this afternoon but generally all seem OK. Any advice appreciated.

it looks bad. is it getting enough flow?

i tried it in front of a small power head and it still looked the same after a week or so. maybe i am expecting too much too fast but it didnt seem to do any good.

from the look of it, it could be dead bc i see the side dripping gooey stuff. i hv a yellow leather i received last friday that is looking just as bad. i am also hoping for a miracle b4 calling for a refund.
