Anybody ever use a stand from walmart?

i hope this isn't breaking the rules but i need to know if the stands they sell are any good or should i just bite the bullet and get the stand at my lfs?? Wal-marts stands are $80 and the cheapest one at the lfs is like 140

hello.... I am not sure how big your tank is but I have a 35 gal. fresh water aquarium and it is sitting on a stand I bought from wal-mart... I have had it for about a year or so and am pleased with it... it is sturdy and has room for supplies on the shelves....

anytime.... will suggest you hang on to your receipt though just in case something missing from the box or you not happy with it...

Now I'll tell ya what kind of stand my 55 reef sits on....but only if you swear to never tell a soul.......*whispers*....my wife bought me a 55 gal tank and a stand to put it on for Christmas last year(my 1st ever sw tank) she is so sweet(the wife)...well the stand and the tank came from wal-mart.........can ya believe it......now has sw/100lbs lr/100lbs ls....and all the critters and stuff................
Be sure to keep this our secret....and when I develope a larger system in the near future I will not purchase tank or stand from wal-mart.......cause I despise them folks.............

ya dude i won't tell ANYONE!
i am getting my tank from petsmart my stand from ***** and the rest i will go to my lfs to get but i might pick up a couple bags of live sand from ***** unless i can get it for cheaper here. hmm let me go look
