It'll host clowns, but it's not as likely to happen than with other anemones. Condy anemones are not natural hosts to any clownfish since they come from different oceans.
For a tank that size you might as well just go with T-5 or MH lights. 4 or 6x54 watt T-5HO lights or 2x150 watt DE halides would be great.

I read somewhere that the condi's are more potent at stinging than other anemones! Thats y you dont see them hosting clownfish as much!!!!

My tomato clown hosts in my conde 24/7. Right right now I currently run one 250w 14k coralife halide retrofit over my 75 gallon and soon to have another coralife. My conde is big and healthy.

clowns have a protective coat around their body to protect them from the stining cells of condes :happyfish

the reason is because clowns and these type of anenomes are from different oceans and dont know e/o exist.
the anenome MIGHT host but it also has about a 50/50 chance of eating the fish inside it..... IMO i had one and my maroon ended up w/ black spots on her side. she tried to host but got stung. i removed the anenome

ive had my conde for six months under 65 watts and it is flourishing with purple i had a tomato clown but it died
