yes you need a faucet ask the company that you buy from the ro unit i am sure they selling the faucet and it's better to buy from them because it will match to your ro unit.
i think that you need to buy one more connector i am not sure but if you can add a picture or let me know what type of ro unit you buy i will try to do my best to help you with this.

i have the same system firtst i want to tell you that i buy it like you and then i add the tank and the faucet after i realise how this system truly work. This system will generate 4~5 gallons waste water per gallon pure water imean if you use it wthout the tank you will need to wait about 10 minutes to see 1 gallon of pure water. i add more $47 to get the tank and the faucet and i suggest to you to do so because when you connect that you will see what i am talk about and you going to be nervous like i was ( when we buy the system we see the add that said it's creat 100 gpd but you not or can get it if you dont have the tank that save you water)
i think you need one more item it's depend on your connector i will attach here image normal they all the same and it's will save you time.
1. if you look on the picture you will see the orange pipe connect to the "in" to your big filter my suggest to add this : ## Parts-1
Option A) Feed Water Device: Chrome 3/4" Tee with 1/4" Ball Valve## (the immage) under your sink if you have the normal pipe that connect to the cold water faucet you need to open it and connect this part to this you will connect your regular pipe and the 1/4 connector go to the orange pipe .
2. the red pipe connect to the valve it's your wast water and you need to connect the
## Parts-6: Saddle Clamp Drain Valve## this part you put on your waste plastic or metal and you will need to drill that with 1/8 drill .(when you creat a pure water the waste water go out from this valve to your siphon)
3. the top blue pipe it's your pure water pipe and this one you will need to connect to the fuacet.
i tell you the true when i connect the system i found out a lot ogf leak preper yourself to adjust all the connection.
again if you want to get normal result i think you need to buy the tank and the faucet but it's your choice i just try to help. if you still have a problem please send me your email i will give you my phone no and try to help you more.
