i'm looking at getting a lionfish, but i should probably have a dwarf in my 90 gallon. just looking at my options.

The only kind of lion that would actually outgrow a 90g tank is a volitans, and even then it would probably be fine if kept alone or with a 1 or 2 tankmates.
