Yeah, it's blurry, but it kinda looks like a Favia from what I can see...

Nike is correct, it's a chalice...and he is also correct when he said I made a good deal, but it's too bad I don't actually have this coral!
It's a "My Miami Chalice" and probably one fo the most expensive pieces around. A single eye (one of the orange spots) sells for upwards of a thousand dollars. This whole piece would cost over $10,000
The first pic is a shot that I took when I visited a store here in FL that sells it. I can't give the store's name because they sell online.

You're right.. I'd love to have a frag..and I heard they grow fast..someone I've seen is selling them for about 600 an eye shipped...tempted but I'd have to keep it a secret from the wife :p

im so afraid to put that much money into a chalice, just because they struggle in my system with the lighting intensity

Yeah, it's scary paying that much for anything... I got two 50 dollar chalices that I got to see how well they'd do; they're actually doing quite well but they are pretty slow growers for sure.
