ok i want to be able to have pretty much anything i want in my tanks so i chose these lights
48" Tek Light T-5 Fixture (4 tube)
These are the bulbs i can get Anyone have and idea on which to chose
* Blue - Blue spectrum peaks at 450 nm
* Sun - Full spectrum, high CRI lamp, 6000° K broad spectrum promotes growth
* Aquablue - 60% Actinic Blue, 40% 11000° K
* Actinic Blue - Peaks at 420 nm, the only T-5 HO true actinic tube available in the U.S. market
Or anyone think that a set up with 4 of these bulbs is not good enough for anything i want in a saltwater tank

If you trully want no limitations go with MHs.

I believe if you get the T5 with 6 54watt bulbs on a 55 gallon, you'll be able to keep pretty much anything.

T5's are good light's, and will allow you to keep some corals, but I must agree that MH's are a better way to go in the long run if you expect to keep more demanding corals.

I agree if you want to keep everything metal halide is the way to go but there costly lol so be prepared to give an army a leg and a few toes for it lol.
And pontius it inst the matter of watts it is the matter of par "that is the light output" and if you look diffrent lights have diffrent par outputs. I think it was 007 who I learned this from.
