Nope yours is not a swing arm. I have a refractometer and never had a problem with air bubbles. Sorry I couldnt help.

I just used my refractometer and purposely tried to get air bubbles and it didnt affect the reading.

ok.. maybe its cuz it is still new and the water tries to repel from the prizm.. i dunno
but seems like every single time, i get some bubbles. i even tried to cover the whole prizm before lowering the plastic cover.
im just hoping there is a trick to it.. i want to make sure my readings are 99% accurate, like a refractometer is supposed to be...
got rid of my hydrometer cuz of inaccuracies.. now i got this problem, LOL

hm, I never had that problem with my refractometer. Maybe someone else will know what is causing it though, so I am bumping this up for you.
