Anyone Else Like Bollywood Movies?

My wife and I went to her friends traditional Indian wedding and I'll be danged if I didn't just fall in love with the traditions, culture and dancing. It was an abbreviated 4 day celebration; apparently, it normally is a 7-10 day affair, but it was so fun and the clothing and dance was just as fun as a wedding can be. Anyway, since then I came home and have been watching a lot of Bollywood movies to get a deeper understanding of the culture and music. I find it simply cool. I must admit, I was uncomfortable before around the Indians at work because the clothes and and the accent and all the stereotypical stupid stuff I was hung up on. The two families(both very traditional-a Hindu and Muslim from India) were so friendly and talk about gracious hosts. Anyway, Bollywood has a different meaning now. Anyone else watch/like Bollywood movies?

Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam is a really good starter. It has a western style love story in a very traditional Hindi format. A young male singer stays at the home of the most respected singer/vocal coach in India and the old singer's daughter hates the intrusion of the young singer. But after a lot of back and forth not-so-friendly picking, the daughter comes to realize she is falling in love with him. But her dad has secretly arranged a marriage to another man. Then from there it is a "who will she end up with" plot. It stars Aishwarya Rai and she is AMAZING! Beautiful costumes and dance numbers. I love Aishwarya Rai and and Rani Mukherjee.

Here's a fun video from the movie. It is meant to be a playful dance number when she is turning from hating the new guy to starting to like him.
