anyone ever heard of a redfoot conch

i was at my lfs and i found this guy called a redfoot conch and i bought him.
does anyone know what their good for or if their reef safe.

Most reef safe. They are onivores, AKA The Thorn Latirus, Opeatostoma pseudodon They have a spike on their end they search, stab, defend with. Dont let it stick ya, Not poisonous. Found in West Pacific.
