Anyone ever mod a becket skimmer to a recirculating one?

I have an MRC1 that I am going to rebuild the box to make it larger and wider. I am considering making it recirc. I am going to still use the large feed pump but use a smaller pump piped into the box to recirc and chop bubbles. I am even considering putting a venturi on the recirc to get even more bubbles.
Ideas and thoughts? Anyone ever do this and or have pics if so???
Thanks

you are going to plump some sort of needlehweel ect to recirc the box? I dont think the pump will draw much air. the recirc pump needs a source of unmixed water to chop. everything in the box has already passed thru the beckett nozzle no? recirc pump wont be able to aspirate significant air recircing air/water thats been beckett mixed already. you would have to plumb a unmixed tank water feed pump into the box as well as the recirc pump at the very least. with cylindrical recirc skimmers the bubbles rise and the recirc pump draws mostly unmixed water from down low in the body. with a beckett box being so compact and short anyway you do it, its probably going to be difficult to get an ideal area for the recirc pump to chop mostly unmixed water so it can draw air and if it does who knows how it will mess up the dynamics.

I did it I actually just wanted another pump to chop the bubbles. I added a Maxi Jet 900, thread modded the prop. Drilled the side of the box then added the pump with a venturi. It's foaming even more than it was and it was foaming allot.

Forgot to mention I am also running a modded becket too. LOL.
Gotta love the amount of foam the becketts put out....I guess enough is never enough for most.
