I am getting redy to start a QT tank. No meds, just to isolate new fish. If any get ill I will setup another tank to treat in.
My question is... Has anyone used ARAG-ALIVE live sand. It looks like the same stuff as Natures ocean, and that stuff has worked well for me. This tank will be up long enough to add a few fish to my 75. My girlfriend says we need fish, there's only 3 very small ones right now....first time she's ever showed any interest in the fish thing, other than "YOU PAYED HOW MUCH FOR THAT!" <img src="graemlins//yell.gif" border="0" alt="[yell]" />
Anyway, the tank will then be drilled, and used as a refugium, so I want some quality sand for it.
Is this stuff as good as the natures ocean? It's Quite a bit cheaper, that's what made me nervous. You usually get what you pay for.
Thanks,
