Anyone fly RC Helicopters?

I do. I fly 50 and 90 sized nitro helis in my spare time.
I have been flying since the first of this year and have already gotten to the point of inverted hovering, loops, rolls and some really cool autorotations.
I had one crash about 4 months ago, but it hasent stoped me at all. Kinda made me not near as scared to fly it.
If you want to get into these things.....be prepared, they are exspensive. I have 1500 in the green one and prolly around 3K in the orange/yellow/green one. Thats not including feild equipment or tansmitters or anything else.
WHAT AN ADDICTIVE HOBBY!!! Just like a reeftank. I would figure it to be around about the same price range if comparing hobbies. SW prolly a little more, but I think both are cool tho.
Just wondering if there are any other fellow SWF.com members that fly/flew helis.

Hey Scotts, thanks, I'll go and see if I can spread some light on his situation.
canisee2....Yes, they are loads of fun. How fast do they go? Well, it seems I have seen people get them up to around 100MPH, but I don't get these two above 40 or 50 MPH at the most. They get real far away from you real quick going that fast. It gets hard to see them when they get too far away and that increases your chances of loosing orientation and therefore can lead to a crash.
