If your're willing to travel to Seekonk, MA there is a place called the coral reef. She have excellent knowledge, live rock and a decent selection of fish. She will hold a fish you wish to purchase so that you know it's OK. The live rock we bought from her has provided us with hours of entertainment seeing what grows on it!

I am from RI and have been to Fall River to get fish supplies.
Not sure how far it is from your area but the store is called "The Hidden Reef Aquarium" it is in an old wharehouse. In the back room there is a huge corner tank for coral, then there is a large live rock tank and two other tanks with corals and anemones.
