I have heard conflicting things about them, some say they are difficult to keep and others say they are easy.
Also, how is their temperament?

They are easy if ( like many other tricky species ) aquired healthy and placed in a large, well established system with plenty of LR and LS and a fuge so that they can forge the natural foods untill they can get used to introduced foods.
If the system is not right then they can waste away.
May pick at corals and do get aggressive with age and newcomers.

I wouldn't really call them aggressive, but definately a "last guy in" kinda fish. If they feel crowded they will get nippy.
