They are one of the best fish to have in a reef aquarium, lots of personality. Pretty soon you'll be wondering who's watching who.

We compared ours to a dog, when I put algae sheet chunks in for him he would grab them and shake it in his mouth and playfully toss it around like it was his new chew toy. very comical and active fish ***)

yeah, my LMB hid for a few days. He warmed up after a week or two and now he's all over the place. He pearches himself on a rock and just looks around. He tilts his head like a little dog adn moves his eyes. His eyelashes really give him character too. Congrats on the good fish choice. Have patients and you will enjoy him soon enough. :happyfish

Every lawnmower I've ever had has taken a few days to get use to the tank. They eventually come out and are a lot of fun to watch. They lurk in funny places, and if you get a cleaner shrimp, they will make friends with it and allow it to clean him.

he will get more active every day once he's acclimated. mine took 3-4 days to get to know all his favorite spots
