I feed live and frozen food so i dont think those are practical for this type of thing. maybe if u just feed them pellets it would be ok but i think most people feed a variety

I do feed a variety, but I figured I could get away with pellets, flakes, and freeze dried shrimp for a week..

i got the rodomatic 400.
just set it up this week...it works great. you have to let it run for 24hours before it starts dropping food....the individual compartments are great, no food clumping. it sits on my glass. if your tank frame is larger than 5/8" then youll have to put it on the glass. and you can put different foods in the cups to feed fish with different needs.
good luck.

I have an automatic feeder on my 55. I got it at walmart. About $10. It clamps onto the top edge of the tank. It's set at the smallest amount of food and drops it in twice a day. It works pretty well. I don't think you will have a problem for just a week. (Please don't flame me :scared: Sometimes there just isn't any other way to feed the fish.)
