idk whats going on. everything els in the tank is open and thriving. i have a little alime comming back but none is on it. the slime is just in low flow areas.
any thought?
thanks again

GSP's will often close for no reason for long periods of time. Not saying that this is your situation for sure but, it is most likely the case. It is not uncommon to have a GSP close for a month and then as fast as it closed, open.
Just as a check, what is your water readings?

Yes, GSP will sometimes no topen for no reason. Usually when forst introducewd to a new tank they can take a week or mor eto open. Do a water change and see if that helps.
When my rics are not opening as full as usuall I do a water change and they open up fully shortly after. Guess its like us breathing stagnate air after awhile then getting fresh, seems to do wonders.
