Anyone have info on Harlequin lobster???

I saw one today, very cool looking. Are they reef safe? Will it get along with other inverts and fish? I remember last time I bought something on impulse(BAD, BAD, BAD!), so I figured I'd better get some info before buying this time. The person at the store didn't know anything, and I've done searches here and on the web, and can't find anything about them.
Thanks in advance,
B

can't say i've heard of a harlequin lobster either. if it has purplish spots on a cream white body with big flat claws it would be a harlequin shrimp. These guys are really neat looking but will usually only eat starfish. I wouldn't consider them reef safe by any means.

In a typical reef tank lobsters are a hazard. They can damage corals and other inverts with the powerful backwards swimming technique they may accidentally employ when startled.
