or is there a site with pictures of sick fish?
My gramma had ick about 2 weeks ago. A few days ago, he got a couple spots on his caudal fins. Then, his colour would fade on and off... Its much duller right when the lights go on which is understandable, but its not like it used to be. The dullness is just under his dorsal, not near his belly or front. Today, I noticed a small, yet thick white blotch under his jaw. Looks like very early FW cottonmouth. Im also wondering if this could be HLLE symptoms? He is deathly afraid of my cleaner shrimp. Water parameters are all good. SG=1.023, Ammo/trites=0, trates=5-15, pH=8.2-.3... As long as all my inverts look okay, I dont think I should be worrying about water quality affecting fish.
Any ideas?
Right when he came down with 'this,' I had started feeding Ocean Nutrition's Prime Reef flake. Ive started feeding with garlic again [with bs], but I cannot hospitalize him for many reasons...ideas?
