I only have button polyps atm, but if anyone wants to part with/trade any corals please let me know. :)
I am also looking for any clown/anemone pairs. I have had zero luck with this.

I am up in Albuquerque and have some stuff available for trade. I drive down to El Paso/Las Cruces regularly for work. What corals are you looking for exactly? Do you have pictures of your button polyps??

Im not really looking for anything in particular, im open to what seems to fit my tank. I wouldnt mind some greenish types, even just the green button polyps. Whatever is hardy since I cant get all the stuff for a 'perfect' reef tank. As for my polyps, my cam sucks and they look like a brown blur. Ill get a new one in the future but not for now. To describe them...Hardy brown things spreading over a couple rocks. THey are pretty normal from what ive seen on the net.

They're going to be fragged in the next month. Unfortunately I'm looking for something with some color too. If you have anything for trade that has some decent color to it let me know.

I dont have anything else at the moment, sorry. Would you sell a piece? I cant afford the retail prices atm, but if you want to sell some I may buy if its not alot. Next year I can do a bit better. :)
Im sooo impatient, my fatal flaw and a bad one for SW.

I might be able to. We'll jsut have to see what I come away with when the fragging is all said and done. Also, I won't sell you anything, but we can work something out.

Hey guys! I was reading through your conversation. I'm in Los Alamos and I'd be interested in doing some trades at some point too.
I let my tank go for... a while. I'm getting it cleaned up and back into shape. I'll be wanting to start adding to my stock soon. Right now it's mostly a zoanthid/mushroom colony (unfortunately all the same kind of zoo), with a few other hardy survivors.
Watch out for those green stars. Once they start spreading, they can be difficult to control. I've probably got some you could have Tormented.

hehe I dont even know where Los Alamos is, I moved here from Lost Angeles a couple years ago and I never go anywhere. :hilarious
Anyway I will trade my brown polyps for the green stars, I dont really mind that they cover alot, I wouldnt mind it at all if they look good.

Send me an email and we can talk if you are still interested.

I tried to get my cam to take a pic but its all fuzzy and blurred. THey are very healthy though, and pretty typical for brown button polyps. I have a few loose polyps as well that came off the first rock i got with the polyps, which fell into pieces after i got it. The main rock with them is about 6" across, but its not the only one with them on it now. If anyone has a decent lil bunch of the star polyps I will trade for the main button polyp rock. If you just want a few to start with thats fine too.

Well here are some crappy pics, the best I could do with this pathetic cam. I cant manually focus the cam so it likes to focus on the glass of the tank. But these pics will give an idea of the polyps.

I'd be willing to trade some Green Star Polyps that you saw in my pic for those button polyps. I won't be able to deliver them to El Paso, though. We'd have to do a thermos trade if you're up for it.

I may not have anything ready to trade immediately, but I'm interested in working in that direction. I do have some stuff I'm willing to try to frag, I think. So maybe soon. I'll try to get some pics in the next day or two. It may be Saturday before I have time.
I don't mind making the trip to Albuquerque. Cruces is a bit far to drive, but it could be doable. Or we could also do a thermos trade with some tips from KD.

Lynn-
Are you perhaps interested in splitting an order from here (SWF.com). I'm interested in ordering a fish, but it doesnt meet the $79 minimum for free shipping. If so, I could deliver your portion of the order the same day to somewhere around LANL, or we could meet halfway...maybe Santa Fe.
Anyways, if you're intersted please email me.

Also, if you guys are interested in learning the thermos method to trading email me. I can send you a link to a pictorial.

A couple points:
Ive only got one decent rock im willing to give up, its the main cluster in pic. Cant trade you both the same polyps.

Also, I have a problem in that I dont really have the means to drive far, my disablility makes it hard. Therefore I can realistically only work a trade if you are willing to come here to Las Cruces.

And what is the thermos method? I sent you an email regarding this. Ive never heard of it.

normally I wouldn't have a problem driving down to Las Cruces, but I don't have any work scheduled down there for atleast another month. I've also emailed you instructions for the thermos trade.
In short, you pack the frag in a bag like you might get from an LFS then pack the bag in a water tight thermos. You ship the thermos via USPS Priority (about $6) mail. Everything usually works out just fine as long as the packaging is done correctly, and the corals are soft corals.
Let me know if you have any additional questions.
