Anyone know Scutus reproduction or growth rates?

I have three scutus hitch-hikers (that I know of) in my 56 gallon tank. And they are growing fast. In two weeks they have grown from .5"/1"/1.5" to 1"/2"/3" respectively. I know they are algae eaters, and man do they keep things clean. I'm just worried about how big they'll get, if three is too many, and if they will reproduce in my tank. I do like them, since they look like sea slugs made of tar, but I also have two turbo snails, and I don't want anything to end up starving. If anyone has any information I'd appreciate it, I've done everything I know how and can only confirm that I indeed have 3 Elephant snails. Seriously though, who named them that?

This is what the smallest one looked like a couple weeks ago. It got scared, so you can see its shell. And unless it's hiding somewhere it has more than doubled in size.

Crud, that's probably too big for my tank isn't it?
I wonder what I should do with them, before they make more.
:notsure:
