I have had these starting to grow on my LR. Been there for about month to a month and a half. They are getting bigger. I didn't know what they are.

As long as they are beneficial. But if anyone can give me a name I would appreciate it. Thanks for the heads up renogaw.

I don't know the name of it... but although it may be "beneficial" doesn't mean it's asthically pleasing and may spread unwanted. If you don't like the looks of it now, I'd be in there with a tweezers carefully pulling it out while I could.

I can't tell but is it calerupa? If it is I've heard beneficial but invasive and hard to control.

Bingo! searched it and saw a picture. That is exactly what it is. What does it do lol? Good or bad?
like halimeda, it usually dies off because it is an intense calcium hog. or it can grow in your tank to epic proportions, but that's rare (and if it does, remember to send me some)

These neomeris are crazy now, haven't multiplied yet but are almost a 1 1/2 - 2 inches long. When the pic was taken they were probably about 3/8-1/2 inch long. I am starting to dig the way they look.

These things are growing like weeds! Still have the same amount but they are approaching 3 inches long!! I will try and get some updated pics soon. I kind of wish they would multiply and fill in a little. They seem to be getting bigger each day!
