Anyone know what this little creepy crawler is?

So I was just working on the computer, and I glance up on a curtain and see this small, yet really creepy looking "bug". Anyone know what the heck it is? It's no bigger than a quarter inch long...

I we have those all over here in new mexico...they are mainly a west coast bug, but in the past decades have infiltrated and migrated to the bible belt midwestern states.
I believe they are called liberals.

well considering there are multiple versions of lobsters, i.e. the slipper lobster or even the mantis shrimp; I bet theres' weird species of scoprions. It just doesn't have a long tail, I don't know of many other insects with those specific looking claws........ but north east ohio is probably not a dry or high enough elevation climate for any scorpion sub species?

Granted this isn't a north american one, but it says there's like 173 subspecies
Similar?
