Anyone know what this might be?

Yesterday i purchased some LR from my LFS and I noticed something that appeared to look like a feather when I came home and placed it in my tank. I didn't think anything about until I went to clean the outside of my tank I saw what appeared to look like it was comming out of a tiny little tube
.....just as I noticed that one of my blue legged hermits got near it and it completely sucked back into the "tube" as was gone for atleast 2 min. and then it came back out!!
These are not the best pics, but here goes anyway!

Any and all guesses welcome on trying to identify this "things" lol

Anyone know what kind of snail(s) these are...I've found 4..that I know of right now.....

Looks like a common everyday tubeworm/feather duster. I've got loads of them. The show up on the live rock. I've got the little one like yours, some bright red ones, and some fairy good sized white ones. Check on the backs of rocks, and underneath, you may find some more. As for the snails. Got me! I have tons of the buggers, no idea what type they are. But enjoy anyway. Just one of the many joys of live rock.

Thank you sooo much! I searched my other rock and found some more!!
Their really neat! Is there anything special I need to feed them? or do they just eat the little particles of food that dont get eaten right away by the fish?
Isn't it amazing what hitchhikes come along on LR. I ordered a majority of my LR online, and didn't get any hitchhikers (or none that I know of yet!
) and I just needed a few pieces to make my tank complete. So I bought 20 lbs at (7.99 a lb
) at my LFS and got a ton!!
I would def. pay more to get all the fun little creature that come along with LR.

They are filter feeders. All you have to do is normal water changes. No special lighting or feeding is needed.

No problem!
I figured you would. Were there's one, there's more.
They ARE neat. I enjoy mine and get a little concerned
when the shrimp go traipsing all over them. :)
Like earlybird say, they filter feed,
and don't need any supplemental feedings.
It IS amazing what shows up on LR.
Out of all the pieces I've bought, only one had nothing on it, not even algae.
I only got it for the shape (arch).
My favorite piece has a cave, is partially covering in what I THINK is turtle weed.
One caterpillar weed stalk appeared after a couple of months, it is truly odd looking.
It has a TON of tube worms, and a peanut worm living inside the cave!
An AWESome piece of live rock!
I had more fun waiting to see what would pop up after
putting in a new lump of rock,
that I didn't mind waiting to buy any livestock!
And I agree, I'd pay more for the lil critters too!
