Anyone running the 175w iwasaki15k?

I just got this bulb and installed it over my 20l and i must say this thing is BRIGHT but it doesn't have the blue i would expect from a 15k bulb. "its has less blue then my 10k bulb i replaced it with"
Should i wait it out and let it break in to see if i get more blue from this bulb or should i return it as defective?

Usually it's the other way around, the bulb is more blue when you first plug it in and the true color shows up a bit later.

yeah thats what i was thinking also... Ive done some reading and it seems alot of people who have this bulb say its more white then expected also. Looks like im going to supplement with actinic.

I'm thinking of switching my planned XM 15k bulbs in the new 150 tank to Radium 20k which is suppose to be gorgeous blue. I should know in a week or two. Setting the tank up as we speak.

Here is a side by side comparison. The bulb on the left is a coralife 175w 10k running on a PFO ballast. The bulb on the right is the iwasaka 175w 15k running on a icecap ballast. You can find the whole build thread for this tank over in the nano forums.
