Anyone that has a .75g tank want to give me adivce?

I plan on buying a .75 gallon fish tank to house some really small pieces of live rock, and 1 or 2 blue leg hermit crabs Can I just siphon water from my main tank and put it in the .75g and then just add rock and hermit crab (Francisco) the first day or does it need to cycle? I dont think a cycle would affect a blue leg anyway. Should i only put 1 in there?

hahahah yes!!! i have a 2g with my betta in it, i want to turn it into saltwater.. i was thinking i could take the light of the .75 along with the filter and put it on the 2g, then put the betta in that little .75g. i would only have some hermits in the 2g along with some liverock and polyps
