Anyone use a cpr pak pak as mini refugium?

I put a small amount of Gracilaria (the red sea weed tangs like) in my cpr bak pak skimmer. It seems to be doing pretty well in there, has anyone else used the bak pack for this sort of thing? Should I put more in there?

Haven't tried that, but it sounds like a good idea.
