anyone use an ro booster pump?

Just installed mine today. Thing is a bit strange. When its on the pressure gauge bounces around like crazy! Then it turns off when it hits the pressure and cycles on of on off for awhile. But every now and then it shuts off for like 1-2 minutes before it starts with the cycling again... This normal???

Does not sound normal to me. You might want to contact the manufacture. But then again, no clue here.

Yea i have but with xmas and all will need to wait. It has been running for 8hrs now and is making aprox 2-3 gallons per hour of RO/DI. Without the pump I was barely getting 1 gallon/hr.

What's the temp of your water. if it too cold it can cut down the output by as much as 1/2 or more
try to keep it up at 70 - 80 deg
