OK, so I ordered these new tests that are supposed to be high end, specific, and accurate. Most of them seemed to be pretty good. For the Reef Color test kit it tests for Iron, Postassium and Iodine. I also got the Nitrate test which I liked. Last night I used the Trate, Pottasium and Iodine. The results came up good EXCEPT for the Potassium.
This test SUCKED. It is extremely annoying to use and at one point the instructions make NO SENSE. Has anyone used this test? Does anyone have any ideas of what I could do to get an accurate reading from this test? The test is not working for me, and the color variation at starting point is Purple and end at blue. I never get the "Blue" they speak of. So far this Pott. tests gets a "F"!
The syringe they ask you to use one drop at a time is nearly impossible to get a drop out of. It shoots out in streams with little pushing of the plunger.
Suggestions are appreciated.
