Do you buy it in bags or in the bulk buckets?
I get a small bag for $29.99 but I found a 160g bucket online for $34 but I read a post one time that someone said that the bucket salts tend to be messed up on the levels versus the bags.

I'm on my second bucket of --, after 2 buckets of IO.
I haven't noticed anything 'amiss' from using the bucket. Every once in awhile I'll test the mixed water for alk, nitrate, and phosphate, and haven't found any issues.

I too buy the large buckets of Reef Crystals and have had no issues. With frequent water changes its almost a must if you have a large tank. Buying the 50 gallon bags can get costly.

I have been thru about 20 buckets of Reef Crystals with no issues....and you even get a free towel or T-shirt at the bottom of the bucket

i use reef crystal. i usually buy at least 2-3 buckets each time, and hv experienced no issue thus far.

Instant Ocean fan here and I buy nothing but the buckets. I do a water change every week so buying smaller bags would cost more over the long run. Never had one problem and my LFS sells the 160 for $35.

IO reef crystals now sells a box that has 4 50 gallon bags, i think they call it a pro box! It is only a few bucks more than then the 160 gallon bucket

I just switched from -- to redsea max. I never had issues with -- just had friends use the red sea stuff and if they got a couple more people to buy it they could get bulk pricing. 75.00 down to 49.00 suspossedly the best salt on the market. So far I dont see a differance. 5 gal bucket.
