i know some will say it's a bad idea but i have talked to others who say it works fine, so putting that issue aside; how do those of you with aggressive tanks and DSB's keep thing clean???

Lots of water flow, and use a longer siphon tube(not the hose) than normal when doing water changes. It won't suck up the sand.

would positioning a small powerhead lower in the tank ( maybey 6" above the sandbed) help keep the DSB from being overwelmed by my eels waste???
do you think the extra PH near the bottom would bother the eel?
also i know i don't wanna upset the dsb so i would position it high enough to keep sand from blowing everywhere...
thanks,
mike
