Anyone with an oceanic 72bow reef ready help!

I finally have my tank up and running with water and I have a question. The 3/4th elbow that fits into the flexible return nozzle is leaking. I don’t know if its intentional or I have a defective part should I rush out and buy a new elbow please help!!!!!!!!!

Leaks are never intentional.

I dont know how yours system is set up. But many return systems have a hole near the top to break the syphon in case of a power failure. Water will spray out of this hole when the pump is running.
