Anyone with sea horse tank pictures

I am setting up a 37 gal tall sea horse tank, but am having problems figuring out how to build the rocks or corals. I am trying to get height, plus have some stuff for the sea horses to hang onto like tonga rock or fake corals. It is too tall for mangroves. Anyone have ideas or pictures of their tank?

Buy some dead gorgonians. Seahorses love those. Its not too tall for mangroves...mangroves dont need to be in the substrate, they can root in rocks too. You just need to make sure the leaves are out of the water.

They also love to hitch on tree sponges. Be careful with the corals, they can hitch on them and get stung.

I didn't know about mangroves not having to be in substrate. Good idea. I've tried sponges before and have never had any luck.

Have you put zooplankton and phytoplankton into the tank? They are not photosynthetic (meaning they dont use the light as food), so they require feeding on plankton.

Hi Reb, I am setting up a 37 cube too. I ordered my base rock, but have not gotten it yet. its been cycling about 2 weeks now. no picture yet, but will get some soon. What kind of horses are you getting. I will be addding a pair of h erectis.

i wish i had some pictures of my tank when i had sea horses. they had babies and there were like 400 litlle seahorses swiming around. but they all died because my tank wasnt set up for them having babies. exspecially cause i only had one which i got from a friend. i geuss he was carrying the babies. It was sooooo cool

. it was like a dream. at first i thought they were masquto larva :scared:
