A Sump is just an area seperate from your tank that can be used for filtration, placing equipment, and other maintenance activites.
A Refugium is an area seperate for the tank used to house life that might otherwise not be fit in your display. The most common examples of these are macroalgae and pod cultivation. They can also be used for keeping otherwise harmful critters out of your display(if you don't want to harm them) or other life that might not survive in your main tank.
A Wet/Dry is an area seperate from your tank where water is dribbled over a porous material(usually bioballs) for large amounts of aerobic bacterial growth. Aerobic bacteria is the kind that converts Ammonia to Nitrite and Nitrite to Nitrate.

I'll try.
Sump an area of additional water where extra equipment can be placed outside of the display. Heater, skimmer, fiter materials etc.
Refugium an aread of additional water were extra bio-logical filtration, coral fragments, critters that would be dangerous in the display, can be housed outside of the display.
Wet - dry a filter outside of the display that houses mechanical- chemical- biological filtration.
