Think I need some more info. Are you wanting to use your WIFI signal to make Voice Over IP calls? You can install SKYPE on your PC (and now your Iphone and 2nd Gen Itouch) and call any other SKYPE sustomer for free over the Internet.

Yes thats correct, I have a mac #1 and Im wondering if there is a product where I can make local calls here in the US via a wifi signal.. My girl does not have a computer or access to skype, it would have to go through her phone line on her end... Cheers!

Check out Skype. I just looked at their web site, and it says for $12.95/month you can make unlimited calls to land lines to over 40 countries.

A friend did what bionicarm suggested and it worked like a charm.
By the way, it's VOIP, not VOP. VOP is voice of prophecy, among other things.
